Schenectady is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Schenectady peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. I just moved here from the next county & from Downstate. Even the signs say "Denny's. I live across the street. But....I went late afternoon, was one of a handful? of patrons. Turned out, the waitress was very cool, fun chat. The food, soup & Super Bird, was really very good. Brought a sandwich home that was still tasty the next morning. A new regular (once the snow clears.

One, you should advertise on DoorDash as Dennyβs and not con customers into The Melt down, that is false advertisement. It does not mention anywhere itβs Dennyβs. We thought for sure we were lost. Two, the food is absolutely terrible. We ordered the giddy up which had all the meat on one side of the sandwich and 3 burnt ends on the other and very salty. Also ordered the groovy melt that had soggy spinach that left juice at the bottom of the box which made the bread semi soggy. The salt, way too much. The groovy melt left a waxy feeling in my mouth. The treating myself melt looks nothing like the picture at all. We are not sure we even want to try it. There is nothing ooey gooey about Dennyβs! We were in the area for a soccer game and wanted to try something new. Now we know.

I have been consistently impressed with this place every time Iβve ordered it. The breakfast sandwiches are absolutely delicious, my favorite is the Breakfast nβ Bread melt. The fries are always salty, and if you add a side of ranch for dipping itβs even better. Food always comes still warm, and if you make specifications to your order- those are always met too. Iβve never been disappointed by this place, and will continue to order from here!

My sister saw this place and decided to order thru door dash. We ordered the yummy looking Treat myself melt. Welll it wasn't a treat. The picture was deceiving and the treat was more like a trick. It didn't look anything like the picture and it wasn't good at all. So upset.... Picture 1 is what we ordered Picture 2 is what I got. Do u see my frustration??!!

Was a random suggestion from GrubHub, so I gave it a try. Was great! I would suggest them getting bottles of soda instead of cups, the ice melts
